Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in scripting and data processing to support Data Management users in processing client files through Swiss Re's in-house tool, ELF. The role requires excellent communication skills to understand user requirements and translate them into efficient automation workflows using ELF's Python-based scripting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Data Management users to understand their file handling needs and design automated workflows using the ELF tool.

• Create and execute scripts in ELF for tasks such as copying, renaming, moving files, performing file lookups, zipping/unzipping, and other file operations using built-in Python-based functions.

• Process various file formats, including Excel, CSV, PDFs, and flat files, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management workflows.

• Handle client data processing workflows for multiple clients, primarily focusing on the LATAM region.

• Identify gaps in ELF's existing functionality and work with the ELF development team to request and implement new features.

• Maintain clear documentation for scripts and workflows to ensure transparency and facilitate troubleshooting or updates.

• Provide end-user support, addressing queries and ensuring smooth operation of the data processing workflows.

• Optimize and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Good years of experience in scripting or automation, with a strong foundation in Python.

• Hands-on experience in file operations like renaming, copying, moving, and lookups.

• Familiarity with handling various data formats, including Excel, CSV, and PDFs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design and implement efficient workflows.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with users, gather requirements, and provide support.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client workflows simultaneously.

• Experience coordinating with development teams to enhance or customize tool functionality
