Position: Sales Manager (Transportation)

Location: Mississauga, ON

Status: Full Time

This dynamic, asset-based company specializes in LTL solutions and is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive domestic sales across Ontario, Quebec, and Western Canada.

About the Company

With a strong Canadian identity, this Company is known for their strengths in domestic LTL and Canadian over the road transport. Based in Mississauga, ON, our client is looking for an experienced Sales professional that can add value to the team. As the logistics and solutions arm of a renowned parent company (asset based), this division offers comprehensive transportation solutions tailored to client needs. From warehousing, cross-docking, drayage, intermodal, rail, pick & pack, and freight forwarding, to a strong focus on expanding domestic LTL capabilities, our client provides seamless, end-to-end services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  • Develop and present tailored transportation solutions that meet client needs, focusing on LTL Solutions
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic account management and business development.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the domestic LTL and logistics sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Design and present customized transportation solutions to meet client-specific needs.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective account management and strategic business development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; focused and goal oriented
  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the transportation and logistics industry.
  • Expertise in domestic LTL, intermodal, and freight forwarding solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to deliver client-centric solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Motivated and results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
