Our asset management division, Guardian Capital LP, is the manager and portfolio manager of the Guardian Capital Funds and Guardian Capital ETFs , with capabilities that span a range of asset classes, geographic regions and specialty mandates. Guardian Capital LP manages portfolios for institutional clients such as defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, insurance companies, foundations, endowments and investment funds.
The Manager, Retail Sales Enablement, will help with the implementation of Guardian Capital Group's retail distribution strategy, working closely with the Canadian retail sales team to support their marketing and client relationship initiatives. This role will be critical in ensuring that the client relationship software, most notably Salesforce, is deployed effectively and managed in a way to help the sales team meet their client service objectives. This individual will also be responsible for using digital marketing tools to broaden the awareness of both our product suite and retail sales initiatives. This role will also have key project management function, as this individual will be responsible for working with the retail sales, marketing and technology groups at our firm to ensure that the retail sales team gets support in executing their distribution strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
CRM Software Management
- Primary manager of the Retail account for our Salesforce systems and processes
- Work with sales team and technology groups to optimize the user interface and data feeds in the Salesforce dashboard
- Maintain updates to the CRM and ensure accurate use of data and contacts
- Execute marketing and email campaigns through Salesforce marketing add-ons, such as Pardot and Engage.
- Build out a CRM-led marketing execution plan using digital tools, such as Seismic, Salesforce Pardot, Salesforce Engage and Google Analytics
Digital Marketing and Sales Enablement
- Supporting and working closely Canadian Retail Asset Management to execute strategic marketing and distribution goals
- Managing and coordinating digital business development strategy for retail sales team
- Planning and executing digital sales campaigns incorporating web, SEO, CRM database and email
- Collaborating with the Guardian Marketing team in the creation of content for campaigns and supporting the development of product marketing collateral in the retail sales and dealership channel;
- Ensuring proper tracking and audience building of campaigns;
- Maintaining and updating accurate data and information used in materials, websites and databases;
- Ensuring website issues impacting Retail Asset Management are recorded for monitoring and escalated in a timely manner;
- Hosting webinars and CE credit management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary degree
- Experience working at a senior level in Marketing for asset management
- More than five years' experience in digital marketing design and execution
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to be both a team player and independent contributor
- Proficient expertise in Salesforce CRM and Marketing automation tools
