The Opportunity:
Business Point is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. This role encompasses responsibilities from pre-construction through to project completion. Key duties include overseeing planning, contract administration, scheduling, on-site supervision, and comprehensive reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, while adhering to budget and timelines. Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule and supervise trades daily
- Ability to read and interpret various division drawings (architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural)
- Manage sub trades on site to ensure project schedule is maintained
- Assist in preparation of high-level project schedule
- Log daily report documenting construction progress, site conditions, inspections, issues, trade delays, etc
- Issue RFIs (Requests for Information) in a timely manner to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure the overall health & safety of the project site
- Coordinate meetings with relevant stakeholders (City officials, clients, project managers, etc) as required
- Coordinate with the landlord, property management group and/or client as required throughout the project life cycle
- Liaise with support teams as required
Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of proficient working experience as a site super
- Excellent project management skills
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail is imperative
- Solid knowledge of commercial construction trades and specifications
- Requires a valid G Class License as well access to a personal vehicle
- Well-versed with OBC (Ontario Building Code)
- Able to understand and interpret drawings and specifications
- Well-versed with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
Pay
$100,000.00-$160,000.00
