Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Toronto, ON Head Office. The Product Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle from development to launch and maintenance. Daily tasks include:
- Conducting market research and analyzing trends.
- Performing product demonstrations to staff and customers.
- Facilitating training sessions.
- Assisting with new product launches.
- Managing day-to-day portfolio activities and establishing working plan for each project phase.
- Facilitating project reviews and checkpoint meetings.
- Analyzing key performance indicators to produce reports on portfolio and projects.
- Escalating issues that threaten portfolio and project success.
- Work with a wide range of healthcare professionals to inform them about the products they are introducing to them, including medical/scientific benefits, price/quality ratios, and other features.
- Responsible for the sales results and market share development for products being promoted in their region.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and maintaining competitive positioning within the market.
Qualifications
- Based in our Toronto, Ontario Head office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with pharmaceutical products lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis.
- Analytical Skills to identify market trends and make data-driven decisions
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Experience in Project Portfolio Management and Project Management
- Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management and Portfolio Management
- 7-10 years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in a similar or work related role - Generic Pharmaceuticals preferred.
- B.Sc. in Life Sciences, Business or Equivalent; MBA an asset.
