About the Role:

You'll be the backbone of our day-to-day admin and financial operations while helping shape the future of how we work. We're looking for someone who can handle bookkeeping, streamline office systems, and, most importantly, use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and identify opportunities to improve every corner of the business.

This is a launchpad role with huge growth potential for someone interested in operations, systems, and tech-driven business improvement.

You'll Start With:

  • Managing bookkeeping (QuickBooks Online across Canadian, US, and UK entities)
  • Handling AP/AR, bank recs, and project-level cost tracking
  • Supporting the CEO with high-priority admin and internal coordination
  • Answering phones, supporting scheduling, and helping organize our operations
  • Documenting SOPs and improving internal processes using Notion or similar tools

Then You'll Grow Into:

  • Implementing AI-powered automations in admin, CSR, logistics, and marketing
  • Helping reduce error-prone workflows with smart checks and auto-routes
  • Exploring AI tools like Zapier, ChatGPT, Notion AI, etc.
  • Working with the CEO and GM to evolve into an operations leadership path

Who You Are:

  • You've got 2+ years of admin, bookkeeping, or coordinator experience
  • You're fluent in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting platforms
  • You get excited about making things simpler, faster, and smarter
  • You're curious about AI and how it can automate work
  • You can switch between tactical execution and big-picture thinking
  • You write clearly and think in systems
  • You're excited to build your own future inside a creative, growing company

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with any of the following: Notion, Zapier, Airtable, ChatGPT, Google Workspace automations
  • A background or training in accounting, admin, or systems management
  • Familiarity with film industry or production environments (bonus!)

  • $25-35/h starting wage depending on experience
  • 30-40 hours/week to start, growing into full-time
