We assist clients who are buying and selling their homes and help them make one of the biggest purchase decisions of their lives.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Client Care, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and is a subject matter expert on Carson Dunlop (CD) Home Inspection services. Daily activities include providing accurate and timely service to customers and Home Inspectors on client-focused activities to ensure exemplary customer service levels and profitability for the company.
Position Responsibilities
-Presents a positive and professional image of CD to all visitors, suppliers, and customers.
-Handles all customer service inquiries and interactions until resolution.
-Interacts with customers via phone, email and online chat regarding order details, pricing, bookings/scheduling, follow up from home inspections and general information on home inspection services offered.
-Directs telephone traffic to appropriate internal staff.
-Processes credit card or invoice payments from customers and follows-up when missed or delayed payment situations occur.
-Regularly communicates with fellow CSR's to understand what stage a specific customer is at in the process.
-Upsells various products and services available to clients.
-Ensures Home Inspectors and clients are appropriately matched based on preferences and past working relationships.
-Informs Home Inspectors of any issues that arise (customer running late, booking error, etc.)
-Organizes pre-listing marketing packages/material which includes printing, editing and shipping.
-Supports other business divisions, leadership team and President of the company as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
-3-5 years of customer service experience
-Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
-Proficient in MS Office with ability to learn in-house system (Horizon)
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
-Exceptional time management and multitasking skills
-Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize multiple projects
-Ability to be flexible and change priorities quickly
-Self-driven and takes initiative
-Ability to work effectively with a team
-Highly adaptable to working with different client demographics and needs
-Positive, outgoing and excited to learn
-Available to work some evenings and weekends

You will be joining a small, close-knit team in a fun, productive work environment. This is currently a hybrid position with the opportunity to work in office and at home. Working full time from office is possible if the successful candidate would prefer it.

IMPORTANT: Work schedules are provided on a monthly basis. Please note that our office is open Monday-Friday 8:00am-8:00pm, Saturday 8:30am-4:00pm, and Sunday 8:30am-4:00pm. You must be open and available to work a combination of these shifts on a weekly basis.
PLEASE NOTE MOST SHIFTS WILL BE 11am-7pm OR WEEKENDS TO START.
