Job Title: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Location: Halkirk, AB

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension)

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to support outage planning and assist with the onboarding of a new CMMS (Maximo) system. This role requires a hands-on professional who can develop effective outage plans, coordinate parts-kitting, and establish outage schedules to set clear expectations for contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement outage planning strategies to improve site operations.
• Create and manage outage schedules using Excel and other planning tools.
• Coordinate the parts-kitting process to ensure materials are ready for planned maintenance activities.
• Work closely with the Site Superintendent and Process EIT to enhance outage planning competencies.
• Assist in the onboarding of Maximo CMMS (scheduled for July/August) and support the site team during the transition.
• Provide hands-on guidance and training to ensure proper planning processes are followed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of outage planning and contractor coordination.
• Proficiency in Excel for building smaller outage plans.
• Experience with CMMS systems (Maximo experience is a plus).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to train and mentor site personnel in best practices for maintenance planning.
