Business Analyst

Fulltime

On-site work required (1-2 days a week)

One of Hire Digitalent's clients is looking to hire a Business Analyst on a fulltime basis. The successful candidate will have 5+ years experience working as a Business Analyst and must have experience working with various financial services business lines. The candidate must demonstrate a strong background and knowledge in retail banking, wealth management, or capital markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Liaising with the business areas and I.T. to evaluate and/or develop solutions based on the requirements;

Managing requirements gathering for scheduled upgrades, migrations and approved projects;

Analyzing and evaluating the impact of application enhancements and/or updates;

Researching, evaluating and recommending new products and upgrades;

Working closely with various departments within the organization to understand and document all business/systems requirements for existing systems, processes, system implementations;

Producing technical and descriptive documentation;

Strong background and experience with writing business requirement documents

Strong background and experience with business process mapping

QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years' experience within the investment or financial industry

In depth experience creating BRDs, functional requirements, and business process maps

Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project and Visio
