Role: Scrum Master - Senior 8+ years

Location: Mississauga, ON.

Details: Hybrid - Min. 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Guide the team in applying Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices and values to meet customer demands.
  • Coach the team to maximize self-organization and achieve sustainable high performance.
  • Cultivate a trusting and safe environment where challenges are raised openly, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Support the team in removing obstacles and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Facilitate productive discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Support the Product Owner in product backlog grooming and maintenance.
  • Report on team progress.
  • Mentor and support the team members.
  • Must be onsite according to policy (currently 3 days/week).

Critical Competencies:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with First-level Scrum Master Certification.
  • Exceptional facilitation, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency skills.
  • Proficiency in Scrum and Kanban techniques, including burndown techniques, retrospective formats, and handling bugs.
  • Strong focus on sprint and feature delivery.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Autonomous and self-motivated work ethic.
  • Ability to lead and motivate team(s).
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and verbal).
  • Experience leading web teams.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Experience with both Kanban and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of development/native apps environments.
