Our client, an established employer in British Columbia is seeking an experienced Testing Specialist to support a major SAP migration.

The role will work on developing test strategies, write and execute test cases, and coordinate with various stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure smooth delivery of testing outcomes.

This is a 6 month contract to start - hybrid 2-3 days a week in Vancouver

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Perform manual and automated testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing
• Track defects, document results, and ensure full test coverage
• Report status updates and testing metrics on a regular basis
• Follow structured documentation and change control procedures
• Mentor internal staff and support knowledge transfer

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience testing enterprise applications with complex business rules
• Hands-on experience testing one or more SAP ECC modules, such as FI, CO, PM, PS, MM, HR, Payroll, PS-CD, FM, RE-FX, Travel, Treasury
• Experience working on mid-to-large scale software implementation projects
• Proficient in tools such as Jira, TestRail, Ranorex, Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter, Confluence
• Strong experience with:
• Reviewing requirements and creating test plans
• Designing and executing manual/automated test cases
• User acceptance testing coordination
• Test automation scripting
• Test lifecycle methodologies (unit, integration, regression, system, UAT, performance)

Highly Desirable

• Experience testing S/4HANA modules related to listed ECC areas
• Exposure to other SAP tools like BW, BOBJ, Portal, Process Orchestration
• Understanding of relational database structures
