The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for lead generation and building a pipeline of top quality prospects. As a manager, the candidate will also be responsible for overseeing personnel in the company's inside sales team. Moreover, the candidate will act as a strategic partner with an eye towards long term sales strategy.

Persons Responsible for: Inside Sales Team

Position Overview: The Inside Sales Manager will supervise the entire Inside Sales team within Astrak Canada. They will be the point of contact and SME for all things related to inside sales, including escalations, discrepancies and pricing.

Personal Obligations: You will be required to showcase a high level of competencies to build, manage and optimize our inside sales team and be able to report the return on investment. You will be required to work alongside the Outside Sales team to make sure our footprint in Canada is consistent with our corporate brand in the UK.

Performance Objectives: Performance is monitored through Performance Goals & Objectives, Measures and individual review with your line manager every 3 months. Standards will be reviewed regularly.

Specific Responsibilities:

Lead the inside sales team in Edmonton, overseeing day-to-day operations, including proactively identifying new sales opportunities and nurturing customer relationships.

Train new hires and provide ongoing support to the team to ensure they understand customer needs and can effectively provide solutions.

Act as a partner to our outside sales team, collaborating closely to generate quotes, place orders, and ensure seamless customer follow-up.

Set and drive sales goals for the inside sales team, ensuring they are met and exceeded consistently.

Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

Work closely with marketing and product teams to stay abreast of product offerings, promotions, and industry trends, aligning sales strategies accordingly.

Coordinate with other departments, such as workshop, sales, and logistics teams, to ensure smooth operations and maximize efficiency.

Be the main point of contact for all escalations and invoice discrepancies.

Provide support to the Commercial Director and contributing to various projects and initiatives as needed.
