Working for a major global luxury hotel group the Business Development Manager role works a portfolio of 40 Leisure travel agencies and 4-5 Wholesalers.
The role ensures regular contact and develops business relationships with the front-line agents, by webinars and in person visits, to promote up to date awareness of the Hotel Group's portfolio of brands, by delivering and presenting relevant sales materials to encourage maximum sales for the Hotel Group's products and services.
The Business Development Manager works into the very personable Team Lead of the small Team covering the Toronto region. The team have twice weekly 'huddles' to share experiences, tactics and performance.
The role analyses and prioritizes agencies based on market indicators, market share, room night data.
From there, develops sales strategies for each agency using relevant data and reports to plan and structure the content for contact.
Activities include virtual calls, training sessions, webinars, and territory events and in-person visits.
You'll deliver and present relevant sales materials to encourage maximum sales for resorts.
They are looking for business development, preferably in the hospitality industry, good presenting ability, knowledge of Salesforce - and Bilingual French / English
The team reports back on KPIs, data, and ROI - with support from senior management.
The Global Director provides a lot of commercial direction, and then it is up to the Business Development Manager teams globally to execute the strategies with their of agent accounts for their territory.
Remote working close knit team, with some travel to meet your portfolio of agencies.
