About Us

We're the team behind Hafu Go, one of Canada's fastest-growing YouTube channels with 12M+ subscribers, 4B+ views, and over 300M monthly views. We blend science, tech, and chaos into viral experiments watched by millions. Behind that chaos is a tightly run, high-output production engine, and we're looking for someone to help keep it running.

Role Overview: Studio Assistant

This is a high-responsibility, high-growth role for someone who wants to learn every part of running a creator studio. You'll support pre-production, filming, content scheduling, logistics, and the day-to-day needs of the creator and team. You'll manage calendars, help plan shoots, organize files, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll work directly with the creator and production team, with the goal of eventually taking ownership over projects, systems, and studio operations.

Key Responsibilities

Creator & Team Scheduling

  • Manage the creator's calendar and help prioritize time across projects
  • Schedule internal meetings, shoots, and external calls
  • Track deadlines and ensure the team stays aligned
  • Coordinate studio usage and availability

Studio & Pre-Production Support

  • Research and brainstorm high-virality video concepts
  • Source props, tools, materials, and expert input
  • Build simple rigs, prep props, and support logistics before filming
  • Help plan shoot days, including gear setup and timelines

On-Set Production Support

  • Set up lights, gear, and cameras
  • Act as second shooter or general crew
  • Manage shoot logistics including batteries, memory cards, and tools
  • Help troubleshoot and adapt when things don't go as planned

Project & Content Management

  • Track progress of each video across stages of production
  • Maintain checklists, deadlines, and content boards
  • Coordinate with editors, designers, and collaborators
  • Schedule content through YouTube Studio and other platforms

Post-Filming & Studio Operations

  • Organize and upload footage
  • Maintain inventory of gear, props, and consumables
  • Keep the studio clean, organized, and shoot-ready
  • Handle occasional errands, purchases, and personal support tasks

You're a Great Fit If You:

  • Are highly organized but thrive in creative, fast-moving environments
  • Think like a producer and act like an operator
  • Take initiative and don't wait to be told what to do
  • Have a hands-on mindset and enjoy figuring things out
  • Are passionate about YouTube, media production, and systems

Preferred Experience:

  • Have experience in video production or shoot logistics
  • Have managed calendars, schedules, or creative pipelines
  • Worked in theatre, film, operations, or engineering
  • Are familiar with YouTube Studio, Google Sheets, or task management tools
  • Have a valid driver's license

Why Work Here?

  • Mentorship from a top creator
  • End-to-end training in content production, operations, and content strategy
  • A key role in a studio whose work is seen by millions
  • A path to grow into a producer, operations manager, or creative lead
