The Senior Team Lead - Detail Design, is responsible for leading multiple Technical Leads. The responsibilities include coaching technical leads, dealing with more complex designs, interpreting 3D modelling/ schematic drawings as well as leading the team, and dealing with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Job Responsibilities :

• Providing specialist engineering expertise to organize and co-ordinate significant aspects of engineering activity within the business to ensure defined objectives are achieved.
• Consistently maintaining quality in all activities conducted while maintaining cost
• Providing input relevant to own specialist area to policy and strategy.
• Full managerial control of one or a number of technical teams across sites.
• Delegation of authority on management functions such as setting strategy/direction, budget management, decision making, performance reviews, pay decisions, resourcing decisions

Required Skills :

• Considerable experience in engineering or technical role.
• Experience of large-scale engineering projects.
• Requires a breadth and depth of specialist technical knowledge and a broad experience of processes, data systems and the business environment.
• Competent in processes, procedures and standards related to area of technical expertise.

Additional Skills :

• Experience in Engineering Management, Leadership Project Management, Risk Management, Budget Management, Commercial Awareness.
