National Recruiter / Strategic Head-Hunter - Outside Sales Talent

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll be the trusted partner for recruiting high-impact sales professionals across our Hamilton Branch.
Your Mission:
- Design and execute targeted headhunting strategies for external sales roles across Ontario and beyond.
- Actively source, engage, and close top-performing candidates - you're not waiting for resumes, you're going out and getting the talent we need.
- Qualify candidates through strategic phone screens and in-depth interviews - you know how to spot the hunters from the pretenders.
- Become a trusted partner to hiring managers, advising them with market insight and candidate evaluations.
- Build and nurture a powerful pipeline of qualified sales talent - especially for hard-to-fill or high-growth territories.
- Maintain sharp follow-up discipline, track KPIs, and own your recruiting funnel from first contact to signed offer.
- Contribute to offer creation, reference checks, and background verifications to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support strategic recruitment campaigns, industry-specific talent maps, and job fairs where needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum 2 years in recruitment, sales, or headhunting - preferably in the industrial, construction, or heavy equipment sector.
- A bold personality, sharp business sense, and natural persuasion skills - you're great at getting on the phone and getting to "yes."
- A solid network in Ontario's sales or industrial ecosystem is a major asset.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mindset - you perform best in fast-paced, high-reward environments.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority roles at once with excellent organization and judgment.
- Strong communicator - you speak business, not fluff.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
- You own a car and are open to travel occasionally (up to 25%) to meet talent or attend strategic events.
