Articling Student Position - Lawgical Law Corporation

Lawgical Law Corporation is currently seeking a driven and disciplined articling student to join our practice.
We focus on serious immigration and family law matters, sponsorship appeals, deportation defences, judicial reviews, parenting trials, and more.
This is not a passive articling experience. You'll be expected to contribute meaningfully, handle real files, and meet real deadlines.

Lawgical Law Corporation is a boutique litigation firm based in Surrey, British Columbia.
Our lawyers appear regularly before the Immigration and Refugee Board, Federal Court, and Provincial Courts.
We take articling seriously and train students to become strong, independent, courtroom-ready lawyers.
Minimum Requirement - NO EXCEPTIONS
You must have completed your National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process and be eligible to article in British Columbia.
If you have not completed your NCAs, do not apply. Your application will not be reviewed.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of NCA process and eligibility to commence articles in BC
- Demonstrated interest in immigration and/or family law litigation
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Capacity to manage urgent deadlines and high-volume caseloads
- Professionalism and compassion when dealing with clients in crisis
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
What You'll Do
- Draft submissions for H&C applications, PRRAs, refugee appeals, and Federal Court matters
- Assist with affidavits, document preparation, and court filings in family law cases
- Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda and arguments
- Attend hearings, settlement conferences, and CBSA interviews with counsel
- Assist in maintaining deadlines, client communication, and file management
- You will be given full conduct of family, and specific immigration files
Training and Supervision
You will work directly with senior counsel and receive regular feedback on your legal work.
We don't hand off grunt work, we assign students real legal tasks that matter.
You'll be included in strategy sessions and trained to think like a lawyer from day one.

Start Date and Term
