Responsibilities:
•Able to use all equipment and machinery, and understand and read all schematics and drawings, related to the trade requirements
•Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices without supervision
•Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modification and installations
•Committed to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment and processes, via preventative and predictive maintenance on production and production supporting equipment
•Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
•Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety and company policies
•Other duties, as assigned
Requirements:
•Minimum 2 years relevant work experience with a completion of an industrial electrician apprenticeship program or a combination of education and experience in the trade
•Experience with industrial automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulic and mechanical systems
•Strong trouble shooting skills with a commitment to deadlines and the ability to work well under pressure
•Strong organizational skills with an ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives without supervision
•Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cooperative environment
•Shift flexibility is a requirement
•Ability to work overtime, when required
