New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a to provide business design services for a Claims Transformation program.

Responsibilities:

• Defining the scope in coordination with the Benefits Measurement team (based on the target outcomes)
• Developing a business design approach and plan
• Preparing for and facilitating business design sessions
• Preparing business design deliverables (e.g., journey maps, process maps, business requirements documents, data analysis and design options recommendations, functional models, target operating models, etc.)
• Working with the technology team to translate business requirements into technology requirements
• Working with operations and change management teams to complete change impact assessments, design implementation tactics, and implement the future state operating model
• Sample deliverables include idea development, analysis, and scoping; design approach and plan; data analysis and design options recommendations; journey maps; requirements; current and future state process maps; business requirements documents; current and future state operating models; level of effort estimates; plans and progress updates; user stories; epics; input into metrics, KPIs, and report design; input into change impact assessments; input into communications and training materials

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience with business design planning and approach
• Self-starter and ability to work effectively as an individual contributor, as required, as well as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environment and build effective relationships
• Experience working in public sector unionized environment
• Experience working on a business transformation program or project
• Knowledge of a claims process end-to-end is beneficial
