About the Role

On behalf of our client in the Banking industry, Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Analyst ready to take on new challenges.

Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Managing multiple projects.
• Write SQL queries.
• Testing, data quality.
• Interaction among stakeholders at different levels.
• Lead complex projects independently and successfully deliver on requirement, testing, testing artifacts, and obtain signoffs.
• Support, mentor and provide guidance to junior level Business Analysts and peers.

Your Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Proficient in SQL, SAS, VBA and demonstrate hands-on experience in analytics.
• Expert knowledge of AML transaction monitoring & customer risk rating .

Key Skills:

• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills accompanied by strong business acumen with ability to engage senior audiences.
• Demonstrate analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency in MS Office: Excel (including pivot tables, charts, and graphics) and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Selenium, or other automation tool, is an asset.
• SQL (writing/creating queries) - must be able to create queries.
• Major Banking experience.
• Test automation experience, able to deep dive investigations.
• Nice to have: SAS and Selenium, VBA, AML.
• Flexible and resilience to execute in an agile environment, including the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
