Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Pre-Sales Engineer with a strong technical foundation in SAP technologies and a proven track record in customer-facing sales roles. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our technical delivery teams and sales organization, helping customers visualize what's possible with SAP through engaging demos, solution architectures, and technical conversations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical advisor during the SAP pre-sales cycle-supporting business development, RFPs/RFIs, and solution proposals.
• Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to client needs across SAP S/4HANA (Public/Private Cloud), SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, and integration use cases.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to develop client-specific SAP solution architectures and technical roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into SAP-centric solutions using a clean-core and cloud-first approach.
• Lead technical workshops and discovery sessions to understand customer pain points and match them with value-driven solutions.
• Create technical documentation, solution proposals, and architectural diagrams for clients and partners.
• Stay current on SAP innovations, particularly in Public Cloud, AI/ML integrations, and SAP BTP services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP experience in areas such as ABAP, SAP BTP, S/4HANA extensions, integrations (REST/OData/API Hub), or analytics.
• 2+ years of pre-sales or solution engineering experience within an SAP consulting or software firm.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to explain complex SAP solutions to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience preparing for and delivering client demos, workshops, and solution deep-dives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (native-level fluency required).
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build trust with internal teams and clients.
• Must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Secret-level government clearance.

Nice to Have

• SAP certifications in relevant modules or SAP BTP services.
• Experience in SAP project scoping, licensing discussions, or government RFP responses.
• Background in industries such as manufacturing, public sector, life sciences, or utilities.
• French bilingualism is a plus.
