Job Title: Social Media Coordinator

Department: Marketing

Reporting to: Director of Marketing

Location: Bloomex Headquarters, with the option for remote work

Position Summary:

The Social Media Coordinator is an integral component of the Bloomex marketing team, responsible for crafting and maintaining Bloomex's social media presence. This role involves generating engaging, brand-aligned content across multiple platforms to foster community growth, enhance brand awareness, and boost customer engagement. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strategic planning skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends to effectively communicate our brand's story and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation and Management:
  • Develop and implement a content calendar to maintain a consistent posting schedule across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.
  • Create captivating content that aligns with Bloomex's brand voice and audience interests, including flower care, behind-the-scenes looks, and promotional information.
  1. Audience Engagement:
  • Actively engage with our community by responding to comments and messages, fostering a positive and interactive brand presence.
  • Manage customer service inquiries on social media, directing customers to appropriate channels when necessary.
  1. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Use analytics tools to track engagement metrics, audience growth, and content performance, adjusting strategies as needed for optimization.
  • Report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to the marketing team.
  1. Brand Voice and Messaging:
  • Ensure all social media content reflects Bloomex's authoritative yet approachable brand voice, maintaining consistency across platforms.
  • Monitor trends and audience feedback to keep content fresh and relevant.
  1. Collaboration and Innovation:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to integrate social media strategies with broader promotional campaigns.
  • Explore and recommend new social media tools, platforms, and strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  1. Influencer Outreach, Negotiation, and Management:
  • Identify and engage with influencers and content creators who align with Bloomex's brand values and target audience.
  • Negotiate partnerships and collaborations, managing contracts and agreements to ensure mutual benefit.
  • Oversee influencer campaigns from concept to execution, monitoring performance and managing relationships to foster long-term collaborations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field, preferably within the retail or e-commerce sector.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging content.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with content scheduling and analytics tools, such as Cloud Campaign.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
