It is one of the largest providers of production chemicals and drilling fluid systems and is focused on being the leading provider of technically advanced chemical solutions throughout the life cycle of the oilfield.

CES Energy Solutions is looking for an individual to become a part of the HSE team who can perform commercial vehicle administration duties as well as support other areas of the HSE program throughout its Canadian operations. The successful candidate will work with a team of HSE professionals throughout western Canada to help CES Energy Solutions provide a safe and healthy work environment for its employees. The position will report to the Vehicle Safety Program Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit electronic driver logs (ELD) within the Samsara telematic system.
  • Monitor driving behaviors and assign coaching for log violations and harsh events.
  • File quarterly IFTA reporting (fuel tax).
  • Maintain data within the Samsara telematic system and commercial driver files.
  • Support commercial vehicle and transportation audits as necessary.
  • Provide commercial vehicle support for the HSE team and Canadian employees.
  • Support HSE office admin activities as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Vehicle Safety Program Coordinator.

Requirements:

  • Experience with commercial vehicle regulations, log auditing, IFTA reporting, and driver files.
  • Experience in ELD systems and vehicle telematics.
  • Must be eligible to work permanently in Canada.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Above average skills in MS Office products.
  • Valid class 5 driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Work Conditions:

  • This position is based in the corporate office in Calgary.
  • Periods of light travel and light duty field work may be expected.
  • Field work may require some outdoor work.
