Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble bike wheel components into complete wheel assemblies according to detailed specifications and assembly procedures
  • Conduct final quality checks on each assembled wheel, including visual inspections, alignment and trueness checks, and performance testing
  • Ensure products are packaged to acceptable standards before shipping
  • Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or production issues to the Sales and Service Representative
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Accurately document assembly and quality control results as required
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical training or experience in mechanical assembly, and bicycle mechanics preferred
  • Experience working in bike shops, especially as a mechanic/technician, will be considered an asset
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, and technical specifications
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills required, and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point would be an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Use of computers for extended periods
  • Use of hand tools and specialized assembly equipment
  • Visual acuity to perform detailed inspections
