Iris's client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Software Engineer in Test for a long-term contract opportunity.

Title: Software Development Engineer in Test

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: 18 - 24+ Months (Open ended SOW)

Client: Top Banking Client

Requirements Tools/Frameworks: Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber, TestNG, Postman

Programming Language: Java (preferred)/Python

Required Skills:

• Hands-on programming experience on one or two programming languages - Python or Java, DB SQL experience
• API Automation/Testing
• Hands on expertise in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., LeanFT, Cucumber, SOAPUI/ReadyAPI)
• Process definition including test strategy and approach, tools (ALM, Confluence, Jira)

Nice to have:

• Experience in DevOps operations, including CI/CD principles, deployment pipelines, test integration with Jenkins
• Experience in variety of environments (cloud, distributed or mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases)
• Experience with non-functional testing (performance testing - Jmeter)
