About the Company - Relative Space is looking for a passionate and driven Junior Art Director to join our expanding creative team. About the Role - In this role, you'll bring campaigns to life across video, social media, and brand activation. You should have a keen eye for cinematography and graphic design, a commitment to brand consistency, and the ability to translate ideas into stunning visuals that capture attention.

Responsibilities

  • Ideate and develop original creative concepts designed to spark conversation and drive engagement
  • Work closely with our cross-functional team to build out campaign ideas
  • Translate video concepts into storyboards, mood boards, and visual sequences
  • Present your creative ideas clearly and confidently to internal teams
  • Support and help direct external partners during photo and video shoots
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets
  • Keep up-to-date with product features, brand tone, and market trends
  • Accept feedback with a positive attitude and refine work accordingly

Qualifications

  • Previous experience is an asset
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is an asset
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Resourceful, collaborative, and creatively ambitious

Required Skills

  • A compelling portfolio (can include spec, student work, and design samples)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier) and presentation tools like Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with tools like After Effects, Figma, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
  • A curious and forward-thinking mindset, always learning about new trends in design, tech, and social
  • Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple projects
  • A collaborative spirit and strong communication skills
  • Background in advertising design or conceptual thinking preferred. Experience in the world of architecture or interior design is a plus!
