Overview:
Global X is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Marketing Data Analyst with a focus on Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) to join our team. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering and streamlining data flows from internal systems and third-party sources (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct).
They will help maintain the integrity of our ETF data, such as performance metrics, holdings and characteristics, across the Global X website and product marketing material. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of fund data across Canadian marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Validation
- Collect and validate daily, weekly, monthly and annual fund data (NAVs, AUM, yields, performance, holdings, distributions, etc.) from internal and external sources.
- Conduct regular data pulls from Bloomberg and Morningstar Direct.
- Maintain accurate data on the Global X website and in product marketing collateral, monitoring quality and resolving any discrepancies.
Website & Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with third-party vendors (e.g., Fundata, Solactive) to ensure consistent and accurate data dissemination.
- Support with the upload and maintenance of product data for the website.
Marketing & Communications Support
- Provide timely data updates for developing reports, brochures, presentations and content.
- Use different data sources to create comprehensive reports and dashboards that support decision-making processes and sales requests.
- Use Morningstar Direct to run ETF fund comparison and portfolio reports via the Report Portal, building new templates in Presentation Studio and troubleshooting sales requests as required.
- Analyze competitors and provide solutions to elevate our product marketing executions.
Process Improvement
- Collaborate with Digital Innovation Team on building and optimizing automated data workflows.
- Maintain documentation of data processes and controls.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in asset management, fund operations, data analysis, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, or other financial data platforms.
- Understanding of fund structures (ETFs, mutual funds), NAVs, and performance calculation methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with marketing, product, operations, and compliance teams.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with data automation tools and product collateral production.
- Knowledge of the Canadian investment regulations (NI 81-102, 81-106).
- Exposure to content management systems (CMS) or fund reporting software.
