Role: Technical Writer
Location: Trenton, ON (occasional onsite)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct historical research using archival records and secondary sources
- Draft academic-style manuscripts (2,000-10,000 words)
- Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations based on historical findings
- Participate in regular meetings and provide monthly progress updates
- Submit and revise deliverables in collaboration with the project's Technical Authority
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in History from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution
- At least 3 years of experience (within the last 20 years) in: Archival research, Secondary source analysis and Writing academic manuscripts on historical topics.
Additional Details:
- Must be fluent in English (written and oral)
- Work primarily remotely, with biannual in-person meetings in Trenton, ON
- Occasional travel for archival research may be required (e.g., Ottawa)
- Must be available during core hours (8:00 am-4:00 pm, Mon-Fri)
- Deliverables in MS Word and PowerPoint
