Job Title: Ecommerce Warehouse Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Warehouse Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping processes for our online business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of ecommerce logistics. This role requires a hands-on approach to optimizing workflows, managing a team, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed in fulfilling orders.
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation to minimize discrepancies.
• Collaborate with ecommerce, customer service, and logistics teams to meet order deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and company regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for operational improvement.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ecommerce platforms to streamline and automate operations.
• Handle escalations related to order fulfillment, inventory discrepancies, or shipping delays, resolving issues promptly.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within an ecommerce environment.
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing, motivating, and developing warehouse teams.
• Solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and fulfillment processes.
• Experience working with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) and order management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with shipping carriers (e.g., Canada Post, Purolator, FedEx) and logistics best practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
• Forklift certification is required.
