Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee all aspects of Wireless DNA's operations, ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and alignment with the company's growth objectives. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the COO will provide strategic leadership across multiple functions, including Operations, Inventory, IT, HR, Legal, and Facilities. This individual will be instrumental in optimizing processes, improving performance, and building scalable structures that support the company's continued expansion.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in scaling operations, building high-performance teams, and driving efficiency across departments. The COO will work closely with other senior leaders to ensure that the organization's operational strategy aligns with its overall business goals and objectives.

Reports to: CEO

Key Responsibilities:

1.Day-to-Day Operations Management - Operational Efficiency:

  • Oversee and optimize daily operations across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Structure teams, processes, and technology to enable scalable growth and efficient operations.
  • Implement best practices, streamline workflows, and improve processes to ensure operational excellence.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to align resources and drive operational outcomes.
  • Analyze key operational metrics to identify bottlenecks, areas for improvement, and implement actionable solutions to drive continuous improvement.

2.Departmental Structure and Scalability:

  • Ensure that the organizational structure is aligned with business needs and the company's growth trajectory.
  • Develop and refine the structure of departments (Operations, IT, Inventory, HR, Legal, Facilities) to support scalability as the business expands.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure that teams are properly resourced, staffed, and have clear roles and responsibilities that align with the company's strategic goals.

3.Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop senior management teams within the departments under the COO's purview (IT, HR, Inventory, Legal, Operations, Facilities).
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster leadership development and succession planning within all departments to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the company.

4.Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the development and execution of operational strategies that support overall business growth and strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to align operational goals with the company's long-term vision.
  • Participate in defining business expansion strategies and ensure that the operational infrastructure supports future growth opportunities.

5.Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:

  • Serve as the liaison between departments to ensure clear communication, alignment, and collaboration on business goals.
  • Ensure that key operational decisions are made with input from senior leadership, including IT, HR, Inventory, Legal, and Facilities.
  • Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient business processes that drive results.

6.Technology and Process Optimization:

  • Oversee IT systems and technologies to ensure they are supporting operational needs and scalability.
  • Lead efforts to integrate new technologies that improve business operations and customer experience.
  • Ensure that technology platforms, inventory systems, and HR systems are optimized for maximum efficiency.

7.Legal and Facilities Management:

  • Oversee legal and compliance functions within the organization, ensuring that all operations comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Lead facilities management to ensure the company's physical infrastructure is efficient, cost-effective, and scalable as the business grows.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure that services related to legal and facilities management are optimized.

8.Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all operational functions.
  • Provide regular reporting on operational performance, identifying areas of improvement, and offering actionable recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of departmental goals, progress, and challenges.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer, Director of Operations, or a similar role with expertise in scaling operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience in optimizing processes and driving operational efficiency in a growing company.
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to align operational activities with strategic business goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT systems, inventory management, human resources, legal compliance, and facilities management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex issues and drive solutions.
  • A track record of successfully leading multi-functional teams and managing large-scale projects.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in an operations leadership role, preferably in a high-growth company.
  • Previous experience in managing IT, inventory, HR, legal, and facilities functions is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business process optimization, technology integration, and team management
