Job description
Our rapidly growing psychology practice is in need of a dedicated part-time or full-time receptionist who can warmly welcome clients and provide overall administrative support to our clinicians. We are a friendly practice that specializes in psychoeducational assessments for children and adults. The successful applicant will demonstrate their customer care skills and efficiency through professionalism, competencies in spoken and written communication as well as organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Full training will be given to the chosen candidate.
Responsibilities and duties
Greet clients
Make phone call reminders of upcoming appointments
Accept payments and issue receipts and invoices
Schedule client and clinician appointments
Follow up outstanding payments and return of documents
Confidentially maintain client records
Maintain office supply inventory
Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment
Other ad hoc duties and administrative support as directed
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to work a minimum of two days per week, ideally Wednesday and Friday. Full-time work is available if preferred, Monday-Friday
High School Diploma/GED required
Post-Secondary qualification in an administrative field and/or relevant experience preferred
Excellent phone manner
Customer care oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize from multiple tasks
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Quickbooks an asset
