Location: Blackfalds, AB

Specifics about the role:

Job Type: Full time

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Fridays 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

What you'll do:
Assisting the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols
Educating patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures
Taking and developing X-rays (if certified) and maintaining accurate patient records
Reporting to the Office Manager and supporting front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
Facilitating the morning huddle between the doctor and clinical staff
Ordering sundries and maintaining inventory
Supporting clinical staff and contributing to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment

What you'll bring to the role:
Experience as a Dental Assistant and in a Leadership role is required
Certification as a Level I or Level II Dental Assistant (if required in your province).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, you're as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you're comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
