About the Role:
We're looking for a dependable and service-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customer inquiries-supporting with order status, inventory checks, returns, shipping claims, account updates, troubleshooting, and billing questions. If you're a strong communicator who enjoys solving problems and working with others, this could be a great fit.
Work Schedule:
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- On-site: Monday to Thursday
- Work-from-home: Fridays
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Manage each customer interaction from start to finish, ensuring resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to solve customer issues
- Provide updates on orders, inventory, shipping, billing, and returns
- Accurately document all customer interactions in internal systems
- Handle complaints calmly and professionally, de-escalating when needed
- Support process improvements by identifying trends or recurring issues
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, preferably in a contact center environment
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Confidence in making decisions and resolving complex customer issues
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask
- Proficiency with Windows-based tools, CRM systems (i.e., In-Contact), and softphone technology
- A positive, team-first attitude and strong sense of accountability
- Comfortable working in a metric-driven or performance-based environment
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
