Altruck International Truck Centres is seeking a licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join our Burlington team. If you have a passion for trucks, excellent mechanical skills, and a commitment to quality service, we want to hear from you!

As a 310T Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium and heavy-duty trucks to ensure they operate safely and reliably.

Available in Burlington and Hamilton Ontario

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Perform maintenance & repairs - Work on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

Diagnose & troubleshoot issues - Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and fix mechanical problems.

Conduct vehicle inspections - Identify potential issues before they escalate.

Follow manufacturer guidelines - Use technical manuals and service data for accurate repairs.

Communicate with customers - Explain necessary repairs and maintenance needs.

Meet deadlines - Work efficiently to minimize downtime and keep trucks on the road.

Stay updated on training - Attend company-sponsored and dealer-specific training courses.

Maintain a clean & organized workspace - Follow safety and cleanliness protocols.

What You Bring (Requirements & Qualifications)

310T Truck & Coach Technician License (Required)

1-3 years of experience as a heavy-duty truck technician (or equivalent industry experience)

Valid G-Class Driver's License with a clean driving record

Must have necessary hand tools

Ability to read and follow technical instructions

Strong mechanical aptitude & problem-solving skills

Excellent communication & customer service skills

Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred Skills)

Experience with medium & heavy-duty trucks

Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment

Experience with fleet management software (e.g., Fleet Complete)

Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
