We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Automation Verification Specialist with strong communication skills to work with one of the world's leaders in Life Sciences technologies. We are looking for a new team member to support our Software Department by designing formal test protocols and performing verification activities, as well as maintaining other department equipment, documents and records. The role involves designing and executing formal automated and manual tests, and performing verification activities for web-based and desktop applications, as well as custom computer configurations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about development of commercial software in a formal development environment and to work together with cross-functional team of engaged and enthusiastic team members.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Vaughan, GTA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop automated verification protocols based on provided specifications, including verification of web-based and desktop applications (C#, .NET, Java, Selenium).
  • Develop manual verification protocols based on provided specifications, including verification of desktop computers and Windows OS images and configurations.
  • Execute verification protocols, capture results, and create corresponding records and reports.
  • Set up custom verification environments using virtual machines, physical desktops, and custom OS images (Windows 10, Windows 11).
  • Update formal specifications, ensure traceability to protocols, maintain company records, and create reports.
  • Perform miscellaneous activities to support department needs (e.g., troubleshoot internal customer issues related to internal tools and desktops).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Mandatory:

  • Proven software development experience using modern programming languages (for test automation or product development).
  • Experience in developing web-based software.
  • Experience in developing desktop-based (Windows OS) software.
  • Hands-on experience with desktop computer configuration and components.
  • College diploma (technical) or University degree (B.Sc.).

Nice to have:

  • Experience with test automation and/or software development tools and frameworks such as Visual Studio, C#, .NET, Java, Selenium.
  • Experience with formal product verification (formal test protocols, records, and reports).
