The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Minimum seven (7) years senior level domain experience (e.g. infrastructure, applications, information security, etc.)
• Knowledge of formal system development life cycle processes, tools, frameworks and design patterns
• Knowledge of IT solution development disciplines, such as technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, integration, database management, cloud development
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and platforms i.e. Microsoft Azure
• Ability to lead solution development across multi-disciplinary IT teams
• Ability to develop solution architecture artifacts
• Ability to estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
• Ability to independently plan and organize workloads and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, including excellent presentation skills
• Ability to facilitate meetings, stakeholder workshops, vendor presentations to gain the desired outcomes and business expectations
• Ability to foster positive working relationships with partners and stakeholders, including managed service providers and external vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• 5+ years' of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
