New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company is seeking a MS Power Platform Application Developer to contribute to system configuration, solution architecture, integration, and lifecycle support for the internal platform, ensuring alignment with modernization goals and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize the Dynamics 365 system, applying advanced knowledge of coding, solution architecture, and best practices.
• Translate functional and system requirements into detailed technical specifications and working solutions.
• Design and implement scalable, secure application architecture, including database schema and entity relationships.
• Plan, execute, and manage production releases using established configuration and release methodology, including solution management, build tracking, deployment, and data migration.
• Develop, maintain, and support digital interfaces between Housing's systems and the Government of Alberta's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including root cause analysis and remediation planning.
• Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders as part of Agile delivery teams, and provide regular updates on status, risks, and progress.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience configuring and customizing enterprise packaged applications, including at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• 5+ years of experience leading development of enterprise-grade CRM systems using Agile delivery methodologies.
• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing integrations between enterprise CRM systems and ERP/financial systems.
• 10+ years of experience with MS Dynamics & Power Platform components: Plugins (.NET/C#), Workflow Activities (.NET/C#), Web Resources (JavaScript/HTML/CSS).
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing Power Platform and Azure components such as Power Automate Cloud Flows and/or Azure Logic Apps.
• 10+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Application Lifecycle Management (Solution Layering, versioning, managed / unmanaged solutions, deployment strategies).

Desirable experience and qualifications include:

• Designing and operationalizing production release and configuration methodologies (environment strategy, automated deployments, data migration).
• Large-scale ETL processes including data cleansing, mapping, and migration into Dynamics 365.
• Experience using GitHub for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment of Power Platform solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, Common Data Model, and enterprise governance best practices.
• Developing RESTful services and integrating with Microsoft Graph API, Dataverse Web API, and related services.
• Knowledge of security model design in Dynamics 365 (role-based access, business units, field-level security, record ownership).
• Experience delivering application development services for public sector clients, including government ministries, agencies, boards, or commissions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and nontechnical audiences.
