Job Title: Microsoft Power Platform Specialist
Job Type: 1-year Contract
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Hours per week: 37.5
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM AST
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design, develop, and implement custom Power Apps solutions to meet business requirements.
- Create and manage automated workflows using Power Automate to optimize business processes.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Integrate Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI with other Microsoft 365 services and third-party applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Education and Training
- A bachelor's degree in business, IT/Computer Science or a related discipline from a recognized university/ institution or equivalent experience is desired.
- Utility industry experience is considered an asset.
- SAFe , PMI-DASM , or CSM is considered an asset.
- ITIL knowledge and experience are considered an asset
