Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Product Coordinator to join our dynamic Application Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or someone with very little job experience to immerse themselves in a high-paced environment with numerous opportunities to learn and grow.

In this role, you will combine the responsibilities of a Scrum Master and Project Coordinator, with a strong emphasis on financial acumen. You will facilitate Agile processes, coordinate project activities, and ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.

No prior experience is required. However, a willingness to learn, a curious nature, and a strong commitment to the CBTS core values are critical to your potential success in this role.

Essential Functions

Coordinator Duties:

  • Schedule and facilitate meetings, ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Track project progress and maintain project documentation.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues.
  • Ensure all team members have the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks.
  • Monitor project health including budget, scope, schedule and quality.
  • If required, facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • If required, coordinate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
  • If required, support backlog maintenance and sprint planning.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project financials and provide insights to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate tracking of project expenses.

Reporting and Data Monitoring:

  • Create detailed reports on project progress, financial status, and team performance.
  • Monitor data related to project milestones, budget adherence, and resource allocation.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Utilize data analytics to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders and senior management.

Education

  • Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in applications and technology.
  • Strong understanding or willingness to learn Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • An interest in learning the basics of project management.
  • Excellent time and priority management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. A "can-do" or "can't do it yet" attitude is critical for success in this rolel.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency or willingness to become proficient in project management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with financial software and tools.
  • Familiarity with application development and the SDLC.
