Millenilink is supporting a government client seeking a Senior UX Designer to support multiple product teams across a range of applications. This is a 10.5 month contract setup to be hybrid, however it is possible that this may be negotiated. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centered design, experience in public sector environments, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to enhance digital experiences.
- Lead user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Translate user feedback and research findings into actionable design solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure feasible and effective UI/UX decisions.
- Contribute to information architecture, blueprinting, and documentation to support development teams.
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and design best practices across multiple internal product teams.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of UX design experience, ideally with some time in public sector environments
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma (required) and Balsamiq or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge communication between users and technical teams.
- Experience with user stories, persona development, ideation sessions, and design thinking methodologies.
- Strong communication skills-can present ideas clearly, justify design decisions with logic, and handle constructive feedback well.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in non-standardized or evolving environments.
