We're seeking a mid-level Software Developer - Manufacturing IT Systems with expertise to design, implement, and optimize software solutions that bridge IT and manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in digitizing production workflows, enabling real-time data visibility, and ensuring seamless integration between MES, ERP, and shop-floor systems. If you're passionate about Industry 4.0 technologies and thrive in solving complex industrial challenges, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions to modernize, automate and optimize manufacturing process through data collection, manipulation and presentation.
  • Ensure code aligns with best practices, security standards, and performance benchmarks.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to validate functionality.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for software development and updates.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, product development, and QA) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Continuous Support & Improvement - Monitor system performance, improve, diagnose and fix bugs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in application development.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a must.
  • Proficiency in languages like SQL, Python, Java, JS or others relevant to the field.
  • Knowledge of various databases like Dgraph, Postgres DB, Influx DB, MySQL etc., and ETL processes. (On-premises data management).
  • Familiarity with systems like Git for code management and Containers for deployment.
  • Experience with REST/ GraphQL API and Message brokers (NATS, EMQX etc.,).
  • Working knowledge of various environments: Linux/Windows/Docker/Embedded.
  • Experience with any ERP and MES systems would be an asset.
