Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead new product launch projects in a fast-paced consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring cross-functional alignment, timely delivery, and efficient problem-solving. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive successful launches within aggressive timelines.
While this position can be performed remotely or in a hybrid capacity (from our Montréal or Milton, Ontario office), there will be occasional in-office working required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales) to ensure smooth execution of product launch projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, and risks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, tracking key deliverables and dependencies across functions.
- Drive clear and effective communication between stakeholders to prevent roadblocks and ensure alignment.
- Utilize project management tools (MS Suite, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) to track progress and report key metrics.
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure seamless execution across markets.
- Continuous improvement on project management processes and best practices.
- Drive the team as a leader, building a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management within the CPG industry, with a focus on product launches.
- Strong understanding of CPG product development and commercialization processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Teams, etc.). Experience with would be an asset.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- PMP certification or equivalent would be a plus.
