Reports to: Director of Marketing
As the Marketing Coordinator at Craig's Cookies, you will play an integral role in executing and amplifying our brand's voice across digital channels-with a strong emphasis on social media. You'll partner closely with the Director of Marketing to develop, implement, and track campaigns that drive customer engagement, support franchise partners, and fuel the growth of our Canadian bakery chain.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management (60%)
- Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community conversations in a timely, on-brand manner.
- Analyze social media performance metrics; prepare weekly/monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging features to optimize content strategy.
- Occasional travel to retail locations is required for content creation and participation in weekend grand opening events.
Campaign Coordination (20%)
- Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns (email, digital ads, in-store promotions).
- Coordinate asset creation (copy, imagery, video) with internal teams and external vendors.
- Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timelines are met.
Content & Collateral Support (10%)
- Draft and edit copy for email newsletters, blog posts, website updates, and print materials.
- Ensure all collateral aligns with Craig's Cookies brand guidelines and quality standards.
Analytics & Reporting (5%)
- Track key marketing KPIs (engagement, reach, click-through rates, conversion metrics).
- Build and maintain dashboards to provide actionable insights to the Director of Marketing and other stakeholders.
Administrative & Cross Functional Support (5%)
- Help coordinate photoshoots, events, and influencer partnerships.
- Manage marketing supplies, vendor communications, and budget tracking.
- Support franchisees' local marketing needs as required.
Key Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 1-3 years of hands on digital and social media marketing experience, preferably in food & beverage or retail.
Technical Skills
- Expert user of social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social).
- Proficiency with basic graphic design/editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite fundamentals, Canva).
- Proficient in basic photography techniques.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo) and Google Analytics.
