We're looking for an Social Media and Affiliate Manager with online sportsbook and betting expertise for an established crypto sportsbook brand with a global audience of highly qualified bettors. Working with a small (but mighty) team, you'll drive build and manage a thriving affiliate network while driving engagement and growth across our social media channels.

This is a hybrid-remote position (Toronto-based preferred) and is perfect for a data-driven, creative strategist with deep knowledge of social media trends, audience behavior, and the regulatory landscape of iGaming marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Growth:

  • Develop and execute a social media growth strategy to increase audience engagement and brand presence on relevant platforms (Twitter (X) and YouTube, specifically).
  • Optimize content strategy to drive organic growth while integrating paid social campaigns to maximize reach and ROI.
  • Identify opportunities for influencer partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations within the sports betting and iGaming space.

Affiliate and Influencer Network:

  • Cultivate and manage a thriving sports betting-centric affiliate network of sports, gaming, betting, and relevant creators and influencers to amplify the brand and attract new bettors.
  • Negotiate and close deals to leverage creator reach across gaming, sports, crypto, and other relevant audiences and communities.

Content Curation & Audience Engagement:

  • Oversee content creation, curation, and publishing tailored for sports betting and gambling audiences.
  • Develop real-time, engaging content aligned with live sports events, betting trends, and industry news.
  • Lead community management efforts, fostering conversations, responding to comments, and managing brand reputation.

Paid & Organic Social Media Oversight:

  • Plan and manage paid media campaigns on Twitter and YouTube, ensuring compliance with iGaming advertising regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing and acquisition strategies.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track key performance metrics (engagement, follower growth, CTR, conversions) and provide data-driven insights.
  • Leverage social listening tools to monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and audience sentiment.

Compliance & Industry Expertise:

  • Ensure all social media content adheres to iGaming regulations, responsible gambling guidelines, and advertising policies.
  • Stay ahead of legal and compliance changes impacting sportsbook and betting promotions across different jurisdictions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Based in/around the Toronto, Ontario area (requires 2-3 onsite/in-office work days per week)
  • 3+ years of social media marketing experience in iGaming, sports betting, online casino, or poker.
  • Strong understanding of Twitter (X) and YouTube growth strategies.
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns within regulated industries.
  • Strong content curation/creation abilities - must be able to source and/or create assets for organic and paid campaigns.
  • Knowledge of iGaming marketing compliance and responsible gambling best practices.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
  • Passion for sports, betting culture, and gaming communities.
  • Startup experience preferred - must thrive in a small team environment.
