Title - Platform Engineer

Client - Award winning Financial Trading firm run by passionate Computer Scientists

Salary - Up to $170,000 + an exceptional bonus and package

Location - Montreal, City based (stunning offices)

Role: (A full spec is available but key points below)

• Build and optimise next gen infrastructure to support the engineering teams
• Help architect a resilient, multi-petabyte storage solution
• Automate anything and everything with Python & config tools
• Innovate whilst bringing in new ideas

Essential Skills:

• Genuine passion in Linux & Open-source
• On-prem / Bare metal experience in a mission critical environment
• Strong configuration / automation experience (ideally Puppet or Docker)
• Some networking experience/troubleshooting
• Ideally worked in a HPC research, low-level or ultra-low latency environment (not essential but nice to have)
• A likeable personality with good people skills!
