The role:

My client are seeking a Junior Linux Engineer to join their team.

This role would likely best suit either a fresh Graduate, or a talented Engineer looking for a 2nd role.

You will work on some of the world's fastest, most optimised and complex systems, working back to back with some of the country's best Senior Engineers - the learning opportunities are excellent.

Core responsibilities:

• Supporting core Linux systems
• Supporting expansive and complex HPC environment
• Utilising Scheduling systems such as Condor, Slurm, Grid Engine etc.
• Maintaining and monitoring NFS, LDAP etc.
• Scripting in Python for automation

Required skills:

• Degree in a relevant discipline
• Linux
• HPC skills strongly desirable
• Ability to script in Python
• IaC experience desirable
