Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Employee & Labor Relations Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals looking to build a career in human resources within a fast-growing environment. You will provide guidance to Leadership and HR Business Partners (HRBP) on labor relations, interpretation of collective agreements, policies, and legislation, while overseeing compliance and supporting special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and support to managers and HRBP on employee relations issues, including performance management, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary actions.
  • Resolve employee grievances and complaints through investigation and mediation.
  • Assist in managing labor relations activities, including collective bargaining and negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor agreements and address union-related issues.
  • Prepare and administer labor contracts and agreements.
  • Administer the grievance process, ensuring all files are prepared for litigation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in human resources.
  • Bilingual - French and English.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with software/data analytics is an asset.
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours.
  • High level of attention to detail and analytics.
  • Responsible and able to solve problems.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to learn quickly and stay organized.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to communicate at all levels.

Compensation:

$28/hr to $38/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D. Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
