Senior Architect - Investment Bank Toronto Contract

A leading investment bank is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join their AML team. As a Senior Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and upgrading their high-end web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of web applications within the AML team.
• Ensure high performance and scalability of applications by understanding and optimizing APIs.
• Oversee the upgrade of Java and Angular frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with multiple backends.
• Utilize OpenShift and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with web applications and Java platforms.
• Proficiency in Angular for front-end development.
• Strong understanding of API design and performance optimization.
• Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of upgrading and maintaining high-end web applications.
• Familiarity with SQL and Oracle databases.
