DevOps Container Engineer
Dacaro Services is seeking a DevOps Container Engineer to support the bank's enterprise cloud initiatives. This role will work across multiple business lines to build, automate, and optimize cloud-based container platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in public cloud environments, understands financial services security requirements, and thrives in a collaborative DevOps culture.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, AKS, GKE, or similar platforms.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools to streamline deployment processes.
- Implement and optimize security configurations, policies, and compliance measures for containerized workloads.
- Collaborate with cloud, network, security, and risk management teams to ensure bank-secured solutions align with the bank's security policies and regulatory standards.
- Work with microservices architecture, APIs, service meshes, and ingress controllers for scalable cloud solutions.
- Develop custom automation scripts using Python, Go, Bash, or other scripting languages.
- Provide technical guidance to development and operations teams on container best practices, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
- Monitor and optimize container performance, availability, and security using tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Participate in incident response, security audits, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Contribute to business continuity by developing and testing Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in cloud computing (Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, AKS, GKE, Docker, Podman).
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and Platform Engineering principles.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Go, Bash, Java, or NodeJS).
- Familiarity with cloud CLIs, SDKs, and API integrations.
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and identity management concepts.
- Experience implementing Kubernetes security features (Network Policies, Service Mesh, Certificate Management, Ingress Controllers).
- Knowledge of compliance tools (Azure Policy, Google Org Policy, AquaSec, Wiz).
- Professional certifications such as CKA, CKS, Certified Terraform Associate, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
