Full Stack Engineer (Contract Position)

Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 6 months

Location: Toronto, ON, CA

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Hybrid position, 2-3d/w onsite, no exceptions

The ideal candidate should have background in Capital Markets. e.g. Bonds, Credit derivatives and/or IR derivatives trading.

Roles and responsibilities:

Application developer role for front to back system with basic domain knowledge on Bonds, Credit derivatives and IR derivatives trading

Propose and deliver sustainable solutions for the application including but not limited to business use case, DevOps, infrastructure, resiliency and monitoring

Contribute to new age tooling and improvisation of existing tech stack and process

Ability and will to perform production support as needed deep diving into root causes and propose fixes to avoid such in future

Must have skills/experience/qualifications

7 years of experience in supporting mission critical application.

Hands on microservices architecture and applied design principles

Prior experience on development for Valuation Engines, Trade Store or product-based application

Excellent hands-on core Java and Sprint boot

Good hands-on knowledge on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred

Good to have knowledge on Rust.

Knowledge of MongoDB/ PostGre SQL preferred

Excellent trouble shooting skills.

Well versed with DevOps tool such Jenkins, Ansible etc.

Ability to learn new things quicker and use in Agile manner.
